About ALAN DALE DICKINSON
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou
Alan Dale Dickinson was born in downtown Los Angeles, California - during an earthquake. He came into this crazy old mixed up world with a bang at the famous California Medical Center located right downtown LA at the 110 [Harbor Freeway] and the 10 [Santa Monica Freeway]. A native Californian, Dickinson has traveled around the globe, but he has never found any location that he likes better than sunny southern California.
After attending California State University-Fullerton, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, and Real Estate, Alan became a Corporate Vice President of Bank of America (the largest bank in the USA, and 13th largest bank in the world). Dickinson worked for Bank of America for 20 years in and around the LA/Orange County area.
Alan also holds a Lifetime Teaching Credential from the State of California for any Community College. He's credentialed in the fields of International Business and Banking, and holds numerous recognitions, prestigeous awards, and certificates from the different organizations that he has worked for over the past 35 years.
Alan's lifetime love of detective novels, movies, and TV shows, and his interest in real life private investigators (P.I.'s, gumshoes, private eyes - you know the drill) led to his first 4 mystery/crime novels. His anti-hero and alter ego, is the famous - or infamous - Charlie O'Brien, PI.
